Day 4 - Biking Along

June 18th, day 4 of the pilgrimage, the seminarians walked, biked and prayed. Beginning the day at St. Agnes in Sawyer, they walked to Warren Dunes State Park in Bridgman for lunch.

They then biked to St. Gabriel in Berrien Springs where they had Mass and Adoration.

Day 2

Day 2, June 16, was a full day with stops at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Bridgeman, St. Mary of the Lake in New Buffalo and St. Joseph South in Stevensville.

The seminarians attended Mass, concelebrated by Vocations Director Christopher Derda, in the church and afterwards enjoyed a BBQ Lunch with the parishioners of St. Mary's.

The seminarians also enjoyed the beautiful beach in New Buffalo...







At St. Joseph South in Stevensville, the seminarians celebrated Mass and enjoyed a Father's Day dinner, complements of the St. Joseph Knights of Columbus.

Day 1

Day 1 of the diocesan seminarian pilgrimage started out on a great foot at St. Bernard's in Benton Harbor! The seminarians joined parishioners for Mass and dinner while sharing their stories. Here are a few pictures:

To the Heart of the Diocese

Kalamazoo Diocesan seminarians began their summer pilgrimage "To the Heart of the Diocese through the Heart of Christ" on June 14 with a dinner and celebration with Bishop Bradley. The dinner was hosted by Borgess Hospital in their beautiful Lawrence Education Center.

Transitional Deacons Evelio Ramirez and Thomas McNally each spoke to the gathering.
